TidyCal Enhances API: Now Supports Booking Creation

TidyCal, AppSumo's Calendly competitor, just got a better API. Now you can create bookings too using the API, before you could only read. https://tidycal.com/developer/docs/

just saw that... I am wondering if it is worth it over cal.com, which is free for my use. The only thing I don't like is that their agency tier isn't really agency. It should be called "Group Plan" as I believe it is only for groups on the same team, not having an agency setting where you could set it up for multiple clients (even in there having round robin for that specific client).

March 2 - you can only get booking times, not book via API

Gosh. I didn't test it, I just browsed through the doc and I saw create booking type and create booking. I kept TidyCal in the hope that they would create an API for booking meetings/events.

ya, I don't understand their thought process... API but no ability to book? I am sure that they will, but it's an AS product so I'm sure it will always be available for sale

likely the create booking should be in the bookings section

Well, the docs say "Create booking" and "Create booking type". I will test it at some point. Not yet, I am still trying to get my N8N installation to work as I want it to. Yesterday I got a separate VPS with an IP of its own... 🙂

If you're looking for an example n8n workflow, you can see how I have my node structure set for Tidy Cal. I personally can't wait to deeply integrate thoughtly through n8n to Tidycal. Perhaps another one of my weekend projects.
