What happened to the "general" channel?

Hey Magnus, do you think I should add it back? I tried to separate everything into channels with topics people were using General for

Torrey Leonard I think that the change as such is good because now it is sorted. I DO however think that we need two more. One channel for topics of more general characteristics - "general" . I would also like to see a channel for the business side of things, the business cases etc. You guys are geeks 😄 who have some sort of idea of how you will make money on this service, but honestly I think that most of you have not worked in/with big organizations which also means that you don't know how such organizations look at things and they might even differ with different countries around the world. Now I am doing a product calculus/business case to see how I can price things. I want to understand how your pricing is. Before you said that the pricing was about how many nodes are in an agent/flow + the cost for the calls as such. The latest weekly meeting I attended you said that it was the calling fees only. Either way, I want to understand how you will price things and I didn't see a natural place to ask such a thing. Can you for instance confirm that the price for one credit on the Pro level is $0.009 per credit? How many credits are needed per minute? These calling fees, do they differ with in- and outgoing calls?

I like that idea! I’ll get those channels added, I think it’s great to have everyone chat about the business side of things. Plus, I added the Agencies channel so everyone can discuss the business side of their AI agencies. As for billing, 1 min = 10 credits. See here for more: https://docs.thoughtly.com/platform/billing

Torrey Leonard I think you need one more channel: "success stories" From that you might be able to pick up case stories in case someone is ready to share their success. If not, it could help the rest of us to share our experiences and successes. You could put this under the same channel prefix number as the suggested "business case" channel since it's more of financial characteristics , or whatever you want to name it.

    Would that be like Wins?

Torrey Leonard Not really. What I am looking for is more like: "We have just signed a pilot contract with a telecom company to help them automate part of their customer support. The contract is divided into three parts; implementation, calling fees and a subscription fee. We have implemented three integrations, one for authentication, one for fetching their customers' invoices and sending the last one to the caller and one towards our CRM system (which of course is not GHL, no serious company bigger than 10 employees uses that 🤪 ). We have implemented this agent in two languages; German and English. The Genius is massive for this customer. We built it using both public information and their internal knowledge base. Our customer expects to save $yyyyy per year which means an ROI of zz%, which in turn means that they will get a pay off time of just x years. The contract value is worth $xxxxx annually in subscription fees. Knowing their current calling volume we estimate annual fees for calls of $xyzxy per year replacing 60 agents daily. They also wanted to include a clause for prioritized 2nd and 3rd line support, but we couldn't offer that since Thoughtly didn't offer us that. 🤪 "

Haha you'll have a lot of haters for that GHL comment 😆 (but I agree) I think Wins is still the best channel for that! If that happens to you, share there to spread the word 🚀
